I am absolutely THRILLED to share this session with you! Charlotte is an absolute doll, and her sweet family are such wonderful clients! Charlotte has an older brother, whom I also had the pleasure of photographing as a newborn, so mom and I were eager to get all girly this time around. Lace, delicate flowers, bows, soft vintage inspired colors- we had a lot of fun! And what better way to end such a beautiful session, than by finishing up with a good book?!
Don't my little clients have the cutest names?! And isn't Sayler gorgeous with all the hair, pouty lips and squishy cheeks?!!! She is 5 days old here and was SUPER alert. Not fussy at all, just very interested in the world around her. I get the feeling that this little gem will make big waves when she is old enough. Welcome to your new home darling girl, you are so loved!!!
Sweet little Zander boy, you are a treasure. You have a very special family that will love you always. Your big beautiful eyes see more than most, your sweet little voice will be heard by many, and your presence will be cherished by all.
I can't even handle the gorgeousness of this family! Seriously, how beautiful are they?! And Rylee is the icing on the cake. She was such a sleepy little angel that I had a hard time giving her back :(. I LOVE my job, but sometimes I wish I had a little more time to just snuggle these babies. They are so itsy bitsy and it only lasts for such a short time. Enjoy it while it lasts!
How could the time have disappeared so quickly? My poor little babe had such a rough first few months. Getting any newborn portraits of out of him was a miracle, but thankfully I did. I cried for weeks about it (really truly I did), and wished I had hired a fellow photographer. Everyone I knew was already booked up and their next available time would be too late. So, I tried my best to do it on my own. I managed to get one image one day, one another day, etc. Hence the tears. If you've been to my home you know how small of a space I have to work in, and that I have to move furniture in order to use that space. It's a lot of work to get ready for…
Ooooooh my gosh, isn't he so scrumptious?!! I love to do mini sessions but I was a little bit, scratch that, a lot a bit bummed that I had to give this little guy back to his mommy so soon. I love his little rolls and fuzz, reminds me of my 2nd baby that is about to be 5 (I could cry just thinking about it!).
I LOVE him! I'm sure you do, too. I mean, how can you not?! Penn is the newest member of my brother's family, the missing piece that we all have been waiting for. I'm sure you'll be seeing more of him in the future here at Lindisima Photography!
There usually aren't too many surprises with being a newborn photographer. Granted, the babies usually give a newborn "surprise" on either myself or the blanket they're on ( i.e. baby poop), but as far as knowing what to expect, it's fairly consistent. This time however, Reagan not only surprised me (both ways as mentioned previously!) she completely amazed me! This teensy little gem somehow was able to lift her own head and even roll over at 8 days old, and even before this. [brief pause for a moment of silence while you decide whether or not to believe me...] Ok so, her parents gave me fair warning, and I believed them but you just don't understand this girl's strength until you see it firsthand! I'm not simply taking about having a strong neck and…
I had to wait all summer long to meet this little boy. He made his family wait extra long to meet him, too! Better late than never is an understatement here, and he was such a delight!! Elon is a little older than most newborns I work with, and much bigger too. He was a great sleeper though, and I absolutely loved his chunky little self, those cheeks just kill me! I know his momma agrees, I saw how much she enjoyed watching his session. There is nothing better than a beautiful newborn AND a happy momma (who is also a knockout!!).
Precious little Nova came into my studio last weekend for a mini session. She somehow managed to go #2 on me at least 5 times... I was a little shocked, but I know her father and how competitive he is, so after Nova heard me tell her mother not to worry if she goes potty on me or my props because a previous newborn client did it 4 times during our session and that it is totally normal, it became a challenge that she had to accept lol! I couldn't possibly be mad though, look at how heavenly she is. I know I use that term a lot with newborns, but it's true! That's why I do what I do, despite all the doo-doo!
