I can't even handle the gorgeousness of this family! Seriously, how beautiful are they?! And Rylee is the icing on the cake. She was such a sleepy little angel that I had a hard time giving her back :(. I LOVE my job, but sometimes I wish I had a little more time to just snuggle these babies. They are so itsy bitsy and it only lasts for such a short time. Enjoy it while it lasts!
How could the time have disappeared so quickly? My poor little babe had such a rough first few months. Getting any newborn portraits of out of him was a miracle, but thankfully I did. I cried for weeks about it (really truly I did), and wished I had hired a fellow photographer. Everyone I knew was already booked up and their next available time would be too late. So, I tried my best to do it on my own. I managed to get one image one day, one another day, etc. Hence the tears. If you've been to my home you know how small of a space I have to work in, and that I have to move furniture in order to use that space. It's a lot of work to get ready for…
This beautiful couple was sealed at the gorgeous LDS temple in Gilbert Arizona. They were incredibly sweet and I enjoyed every minute with them, even with the scorching summer temps!
Bryson is such a STUD! He was very camera shy that day, but you would've thought he did this every day by looking at his gallery ;) Either way, it was a great day at the Arizona Gilbert temple. There were a few other kids there also taking pictures to remember their own baptism. Since the Gilbert temple is so big and gorgeous, we all had plenty of room to do our thing and enjoy the evening. I have known this little man for so long, and I can't wait to see him get baptized! Way to go Bryson!
Ooooooh my gosh, isn't he so scrumptious?!! I love to do mini sessions but I was a little bit, scratch that, a lot a bit bummed that I had to give this little guy back to his mommy so soon. I love his little rolls and fuzz, reminds me of my 2nd baby that is about to be 5 (I could cry just thinking about it!).
Three months old! Full of smiles, head not so full of hair anymore, but I'll take the smiles!! We sure love him <3
I LOVE him! I'm sure you do, too. I mean, how can you not?! Penn is the newest member of my brother's family, the missing piece that we all have been waiting for. I'm sure you'll be seeing more of him in the future here at Lindisima Photography!
Boy oh boy, my sweet baby boy! This has been a very long and somehow fast journey! We have waited and waited to hold Nolan in our arms, and on February 3, 2015, we finally did! Labor began that morning at 4am, and ended shortly after at 7:35am. So shortly, that I wasn't able to get an epidural. Luckily I had 2 great midwives, a handful of nurses, and a loving husband to guide me through one of the scariest tasks I had ever done. Nolan was born a healthy boy, at 7lbs and 10oz. We are working through a few small trials but approaching the finish line soon. I was only able to get a few images while at the hospital, and I would love to share them. So here he is, our…
Unfortunately my maternity leave started extremely early with this pregnancy. I am so anxious to have this little boy and get back to work with newborns (especially him!!). But I couldn't say no to photographing my gorgeous daughter...I mean, I guess I am a LITTLE biassed, but look at her! Good thing she has so many of her daddy's genes. She is such a perfect mix of my mother and my husband's mother. Lucky girl, she knows it, too. In fact, my little Alina came up with most of her poses ;)
There is one question that I get asked A LOT. Sometimes I will get emails asking about lighting or props or various questions from beginner photographers, but when it comes to non-photographers, it's mostly this one question: "Which camera should I buy?" To answer their question I have to ask a few questions myself: 1. What do you intend to use it for? 2. How much do you want to spend? 3. Are you interested in learning how to shoot with manual mode? Mostly I get the following response- "taking photos of my kids/cat/etc; a few hundred dollars; definitely not! Haha- the last answer is really what I base my opinion on. And my opinion is, if you aren't going to learn how to use manual mode then don't waste your money on a…
